Capital Campaign: Grateful for Our Past, Building Our Future

Dear Brothers and Sisters,                                                                           Fr. Denis Cropped

Thank you for taking the opportunity to learn more about my hope and vision for the future of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Since 1887, St. Rose of Lima Parish has been a diverse and vibrant Catholic community where people of all ages, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds find a spiritual home. Every day we are blessed, by our more than 1,600 registered families, who give of their Time, Talent, and Treasure.

A parish needs buildings to carry on its mission. The plan, vision, and sacrifices made by parishioners over the years have given us the facilities we use for worship, education, and socializing. It is now our time to plan for the future and give to future generations something to be proud of. Our 114-year-old stone church, which has been closed since 1992, will be a treasured legacy once it is restored.

To raise the necessary funds to restore the old church building and provide our support to our Diocese, I announce the initiation of a major capital campaign entitled: Grateful for Our Past, Building Our Future. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $2 million to make the building structurally sound. The estimated cost of the full project is $3.2 million.

As we embark on our campaign, I invite you to join me in support of this paramount effort. I thank you in advance for your wonderful support and commitment to fulfill the needs of St. Rose of Lima Parish.

May the blessings of our Lord be with you and your loved ones,

Rev. Denis O’Sullivan
