Parish Retreat Saturday, May 18th - Give yourself a spiritual gift by coming to our parish retreat, Surprised By The Spirit, next Saturday, in the parish hall from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. It is open to all parishioners and there is no cost. The retreat will be facilitated by Fr. Thomas Devereaux and Stan Cordero. The format includes presentations, group sharing, quiet time, and prayer ritual. The day will conclude with the 5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass. During the day refreshments and lunch will be served. There is still time to register. Forms are available in the wall pockets at the church exits and at the parish office. To help those preparing the food, we ask that registration forms are turned into the parish office no later than this Thursday. This week keep the success of the retreat in your prayers. Thanks!

Parish “Breaking of Bread” Social - Celebrate the birthday of the Church on Pentecost Sunday, May 19th and join in our parish celebrations celebrating our diversity and unity during the 7:30, 9:00 a.m, 10:30 a.m. English Masses and the 12:30 p.m. Spanish Mass next Sunday. Parishioners coming to these Masses are encouraged to dress in their native costumes and after the Mass go to the hall to par-take of a variety of ethnic breads and enjoy the music of different countries. All are welcome. For more in-formation call the parish office.

Rosary Procession and Benediction - Come and join with others to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Carmelite House of Prayer on Sunday, May19th at 2:00 p.m. The Rosary Procession and Crowning of the Mother of God will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the Carmelite Monastery Chapel. All are invited and encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will conclude the afternoon. Follow Highway 29 to Oakville and turn right on Oakville Grade Road. Entrance is one mile up the road on the right.

Catholic Charities Seeks Donated Goods and Volunteers for New Social Enterprise
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa is now accepting donations for its new social enterprise, the “ReStyle Marketplace” thrift store. Dona-tions are being accepted at the Family Support Center, 465 A Street in Santa Rosa weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and weekend from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help sort donations at the site of the store, 1001 College Avenue in the G&G Shopping Center beginning May 11. A Volun-teer Orientation is being held this Monday, May 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Catholic Charities Administrative Services Center, 987 Airway Court in Santa Rosa. If you can help as a donation sorter, please come to Monday’s orientation or contact Briana Keating, Volunteer Coordinator at bkeating@srcharities.org or 528-8712, ext. 160. The store will open its doors this July.
