Parish Council Meeting
The next bi-monthly Parish Council Meeting will be this Thursday, July
29th, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Fireside Room in the Convent. The meeting
is open to parishioners. The agenda includes time for visitors to present
parish issues and needs to the council. |

To be sure of a place for your child in the Religious
Education classes for the new school year, please sign up now. Registration
forms for all our programs: Grades 1-6, Jr. High Youth Group, High School
Youth Group and Confirmation are available in the parish office during
regular office hours. |
Healing Weekend with Emma de
Guzman and Fr. Alvin Villaruel
Father Alvin invites you to a weekend of healing and hope with a humble
and faithful servant of God, Emma de Guzman. Join An Evening of Spiritual
Recollection August 13, 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Windsor;
and Heart of Gold Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr. Alvin, followed
by a Healing Service conducted by Emma de Guzman, at 10:00 a.m. on August

New
Singles Group Forming - St. James Church in Petaluma is starting
a Catholic singles group for adults (40-60 years). The first meeting
will be in late July or early August. If you are interested, email
nogot1@comcast.net. The club
is open to Catholic singles in Sonoma and Marin counties. Possible
activities include miniature golf, monthly Mass and breakfast, concerts,
picnics, game nights, etc. We are open to your ideas also. No monthly
fee. You will pay for the events you chose to attend. (Please tell
your friends and neighbors!). We hope you will join in the fun, fellowship
meet some new friends! |
Cardinal
John Henry Newman Pilgrimage September 9-20 - A Pilgrimage to
Europe to celebrate the life of Cardinal John Henry Newman and his eventual
Beati-fication Ceremony has been planned and you are invited to join.
This journey starts September 9th from San Francisco and includes five
nights in Rome with a visit to the Church of San Giorgio in Velabro,
where Newman served as Cardinal Deacon. There will be an opportunity
to receive a Papal Blessing in St Peter‟s Square, and take advantage
of tours of the Vatican, museums, and other places of interest. We then
go on to Coventry England for the four day festivities of this extraordinary
occasion of Cardinal John Henry Newman's Beatifica-tion. This trip
is being arranged by PDS Travel Consultants and our Cardinal Newman Alumni:

Spiritual
Enrichment Center - The Spiritual Enrichment Center of Santa
Rosa is offering a free Introduction to the Spiritual Exercises of St.
Ignatius Loyola on Wednesday evening August 18th at 7pm at St. Eugene’s.
The presentation will be given by Sr. Antonia Killian, R.S.M. and includes
an overview of spiritual direction with a focus on the Ignatian exercises.

| Traffic Exit Plan - Parishioners
cooperation with the new trafic exit plan following the 7:30 a.m., 9:00
a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Masses is appriciated. The new exit plan
onto B street is for all automobiles parking between the broken white line
and the large storage container. The broken white line extends from the
large green P.G. & E. box towards the parish hall. This change has
been implemented to make the parking lot safer for everyone.. |
